Again, it’s a business. Take the best player available when you get a chance to pick. As a back up, as a replacement for what you have, to trade for others, or any other reason. Existing players have no say so.

I agree to pick the best available in the first round but the problem here is that Penix wasn’t the best available. Brock Bowers and Rome Odunze were available. The Falcons are horrible at running their business. @Volprofch05 can attest to that 😂

Believe the issue with Falcons fans is that defense needs addressed not offensive players.

I don’t think the defense was that bad. They ranked 11th in the NFL. The offense averaged less than 19ppg which was a huge problem. A lot of that can be attributed to the turnovers. They needed help rushing the QB and at WR and chose to bypass both of those options. I really do like Penix as a QB but their roster management is spectacularly awful. They could have spent that money they used on Cousins elsewhere if they were going to draft a QB. Horrible mismanagement of their salary cap.
