I just watch grand slams, never played. But my dad did and he likes the joker and alcaraz now. It’s been 20 years and he still gushes over Steffi Graf too. Hates Agassi though. Still gives him **** over the mullet wig and adderall addiction in the 90s whenever he can lol

It matters if the other teams around you win their games. Texas A&M and Arkansas just so happened to drop 2 games this week also. Had they only dropped 1 game you know we would be sliding a spot or best case remaining put instead of jumping two spots. This week had more to do with what the other teams did than what we did. I think people lose sight of that fact. Going 2-2 with a conference series win on the road vs 3-2 or 2-2 with conference series losses on the road is pretty much a wash to me. A&M did deserve to drop because LSU is awful this year but Arkansas was playing a formidable opponent. I’m looking at it objectively. I’m glad we are number 1 but I’m not going to pretend like we went out and took it. Teams ahead of us lost on the road so we slipped in the back door. And one of those series involved the top 2 records in the conference.

I think LSU needs to win 4 out of 6. They’re LSU, if they can put them in, they will get in. It’s like UNC or Duke being 18-13 on the bubble for March madness.

Yeah. 38% have gotten in with 13 wins, 70% get in with 14.

Not really, every match they watch they seem to take in a few points before deciding who they want. They were excited about the Alcaraz win over Djokovic at Wimbledon, but don’t always root for him. They also like Medvedev. I was always a Nadal fan. My wife, Federer.

I think it is slightly less now with the additional teams…they shouldnt give data from before then because things were far different…the percentages are prob higher across the board since A&M and Mizzou joined

Since 2018 100% of 14 win teams have made it and 3 of 7 13 win teams so 43%…seems to be trending higher as expected! Interesting that a 12 win team made it over one of 13 win teams that didn’t in the same year as well.

Would you say Paul Annacone was most successful Tennessee Alum in Professional Men's Tennis or Doug Flach who won numerous Doubles Grand Slam title with Robert Seguso as his partner?

Plus these Guys played on Davis Cup Teams .

Yep, didn't he play at Georgia? We saw Isner, Serena, Roddick and Wozniaki play an exhibition at TBA several years ago. Will have to go to the US Open one of these days.

Yes, but if LSU gets to 12 or 13 I could see them sliding in. Same with Florida. NCAA loves those programs.
