If there is one thing in sports I loathe, it is draws/ties. One of the reasons I have never been all-in with soccer and by far my biggest gripe with the NFL regular season, although ties are much less frequent. I love watching a great match but I cannot stand whenever I just watched 2-3 hours of a sporting event and neither team wins. Could you imagine MLB with ties? It would be insane. Draws should be eradicated from every sports rule book and a winner/loser needs to be declared. “Oh did you see that game last night, it was fantastic! No, who won? Nobody, they tied…but it was just the best!”

Building on this @VolPack22…they don’t play the ALCS loser vs the NLCS loser…they used to play a third place game in NCAA basketball and nobody cared about it…nobody wants to leave Omaha with 3 losses man…4th place team would have a 2-3 losing record…hahahaha

Then let’s stop saying these teams tied for 3rd, 5th, and 7th. There’s 8 teams and they need a spot to finish. Can’t just do the cop out thing and give everyone a participation trophy. If you are afraid of losing then why are you playing sports?

The point is you have already lost…do you want 1-300 all to play it out…lol…do you need to know who is 104 vs 105…why would you need to know 5 vs 6…they will have postseason rankings…that is what you will end at forever….nobody ties there unless you magically have the exact same votes…

Yeah those postseason rankings are garbage and you know it. They placed us 9th in 2022 all because we didn’t make it to Omaha. You really think we weren’t one of the top 8 teams that year all because we finished one game from the CWS? I don’t rely on rankings to tell me who the best teams are. They all said Wake was a top 15 team all season. How did that work out?

I agree with you it's a win, win for a sports fan more baseball.
NIT has a consolation game every year to decide 3rd and 4th place. The teams don't look like they aren't invested in the game.

There are those rumors of Florida’s coach having an affair with his bat boy’s mother (now his wife) and the husband murdered their two sons and committed suicide after finding out the wife had been sleeping around and telling the husband that wished he were dead during a series of angry texts exchanged with one another. Very sad and unfortunate story to hear about.

That’s not a rumor….thats what happened….but the A&M fans were supposedly calling him a murderer…that’s way way below the belt
