We won another wild comeback tiebreaker today, onto the finals tonight.

My was playing a kid twice his size and his parents were talking smack before hand, loudly proclaiming "hopefully (our son) wins 8-0 to give the team points", my boy won 8-1 and shut them up quick!

CITY CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🎾 🎾

I didn't see any comment on it later.
I found this. Offsetting penalties is such absolute 🐮💩. The officials effectively endorsed and rewarded an intentional effort to cheap-shot injure a QB. The OL guy was not guilty of unnecessary roughness: he should be credited with ending an injury attempt.

Given the recent injury history of Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, few would blame center Bradley Bozeman for the way he reacted to a play in Sunday’s matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Midway through the second quarter with L.A. driving, Saints defensive lineman Nathan Shepherd purposely tried to injure Herbert, to which Bozeman took exception.

Herbert dumped the ball off to J.K. Dobbins on a 10-yard pass and well after he got rid of the ball, Shepherd, who’s 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds, dove at Herbert’s legs, grabbed his right one, twisted it up and gator rolled as he brought the QB to the ground.

Once Bozeman saw what was happening, he dove onto Shepherd and shoved him into the turf with emphatic force.

Bozeman, who’s 6-foot-3 and 317 pounds, had Shepherd pinned to the ground as the refs called offsetting unnecessary roughness penalties on the play. Herbert had to pull Bozeman off of Shepherd.

Herbert escaped the incident unscathed, contributing 20 yards passing and 12 yards rushing on the 15-play, 90-yard drive, which resulted in a touchdown as the Chargers took a 9-2 lead just before New Orleans added a field goal right before halftime.

Herbert injured his ankle in Week 3 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he missed the final four games of the 2023 season, making the Chargers highly protective of their franchise QB.
I would fine the official.

Can’t believe the defender didn’t stick with Noah Brown in the endzone. Tried to play hero ball instead of team ball. Even if that receiver catches it he is short of the goal line.
It’s always total crap…sucks to award Washington with anything…but thats the rules…my teams find a way to get screwed or screw themselves more times than imaginable…just tough to get your nuts busted almost every year in every sport…I hate losing but I detest losing when it’s my own damn fault
