Yeah, that whole deal is messed up. Take the pay cut and like it or, we’re going to fire you with “cause”? You threatened to fire him with cause but still want him as coach? That just seems like a very toxic environment.

How many times will it take the networks to understand that putting on
Back to the Future (any one of them) is not working for their ratings. Folks
have seen these damn movies millions of times over a period of their lives.
Folks even went out & bought them to watch. Those are great movies but
lordy Lou, please stop running these things each weekend. It's as bad as running
all the Star Wars movies each weekend. It's all they seem to know to put on TV.

One would think. But you have to look at the terms. He could have extended it, which would help him when he is eventually fired. He may walk away with more $$$
