F whoever wanted to take a shot at our conference. (I didn’t waste my time listening.) Big 10 Oregon got beat so bad by the Suckeyes in good weather on a neutral field that it was an embarrassment. Tennessee could beat UGA on a neutral field, much less Georgia without their QB. Pedo State has still not played a real team: we would be in the quarterfinals with that “special” bracket. Certainly helps when your conference chairs the committee, bishes. Meatchicken was only allowed in the playoffs at last year because the crooked NCAA played favorites AS ALWAYS and ignored on purpose 4 MAJOR violations that would get other teams something near the death penalty. 1 was multiple counts of interstate Federal crimes. Alas, the Feds suppressed all their evidence too. That’s happened before in NCAA cases against “pets.” Small richard energy to be acting like they’re “all that” after years and years and of beat downs. Suck it, B1G!

And I’m happier than anyone that UGA and Bama lost! They can suck it, too! Take shots at them all day long, if you want. I certainly do!!!
Until this seeding BS gets resolved nobody can take this format seriously. In what world does the 9th and 12th best teams in a league get a bye into the next round of their playoff, and the 16th best team get to leapfrog 4 teams ahead of them to make it into the playoffs?

Sad news for Kirby Smart and his family. That whole bowl game just had some bad voodoo around it. First the attack and now we find out that Kirby’s father passed away down there. Couldn’t even imagine trying to focus on a ballgame with all that going on. Prayers for Kirby and his family 🙏

For now, we met our next goal under Heupel and just need to keep building.

(1) winning season.

(2) 10 win season, beat Bama, and won back to back New Year’s Day bowls.

(3) 30 wins in 3 years. Made the playoffs.

Keep rising!

The format was all f’d up because the things you mention were demands of those conferences and others in exchange for “yes” votes on expansion. A f’d up political quid pro quo.

Also f’d up the cheat-with-impunity Michigan gang had control of rankings and thus first-round home games.

Now that the expanded playoffs exist, I don’t think those bribed “yes” votes can shrink it back because they get some of the mighty dollars. And fans would pitch a fit. So changes will happen. I seem to remember reading that this format lasts one more year before alterations. But who knows? The NCAA does NOT follow their own rules.

The biggest issue is that the conference championships make huge money and the conferences don’t want to give them up. But they really make no sense in the context of an expanded playoffs. Same could be said for the conference tournaments in baseball and basketball, really.

2 minutes to play & the Vols have a 23 pt lead.
Boom! 🍊💥

Hope Aidoo had a great time. 🤣 I saw his introduction to the crowd. 🤣 (Really, in Aidoo’s defense, I’ve heard that Aidoo’s big problem was with the guy who just redshirted himself, and then hit the portal. So you could say Aidoo was not a bad judge of character.) Still gettin’ dat arse beat, along with Barnes’ little boy Calipari. Father’s Day, Rick!

The format will change in 2026. Next season same format.
