Poor guy just can’t catch a break.

One of my parent's friends has non-hodgkins lymphoma or something like that. What I remember is that it has 95% cure rate. They have two boys and a daughter, my mom asked me over Christmas break to keep an eye on them and keep them distracted for a few days.

It ended up being for 8 days and when I saw the dad I was shocked because he was going through some radiation and wasn't prepared to see a guy that had lost a lot of hair and look like he was more than half-dead and his skin was literally grey in color.

12 year old son? Clueless.
14 year old son? Overtly had the reaction I was hiding. Kid's aren't stupid and the 14 y/o was devastated. Worse, everyone around him pretended the dad was fine.

If Vitale has that grey look? Umm... he's not fine. Cancer doesn't play around, at all, ever - or at the very least it's a race between cancer getting you or the treatment.

I hope Vitale makes a full recovery.

Tom Brady was not fun to watch. Dan Marino was fun, Brett Favre was fun, John Elway was fun, Steve Young was fun, Peyton Manning was fun, Steve McNair was fun. Brady benefited from one of the worst calls in playoff history which in turn started a scandal-filled dynasty covered up by the commissioner himself. Tom Brady was the worst thing to ever happen to the NFL. If I didn’t know any better I would think the crew chief that day was a Michigan alum.
Deflate gate was BS and that's def on Brady.
Pat's cheating? Screw that, that's on Belichick and I'm glad he done in the NFL.

Deflategate wasn’t even the most damning thing. Brady was a direct beneficiary of all that cheating… Bill recording the practices of their freaking Super Bowl opponents. Blatant disregard of what sports are suppose to be about. You don’t think he kept those videos all to himself do you??? He most certainly showed them to the QB of the team.

I agree, but it's not like Brady did the cheating.

If it were you and you benefited from it, would you think of yourself as a cheater? I don't think you would. Did you/Brady benefit from it, absolutely. Brady got an extra ring out of that, which made Pats fans insufferable.

It seems like once TB retired the NFL extended the level of "roughing the passer" to other QB's and that's a shame and will ruin viewership and entertainment value.

If I want to see flopping, I'd watch major league soccer. blech. Man up or be quick or go down fast, but don't flop.

I view Brady in the same light as the Trashtros. Every single player that knew about the blatant cheating on that scale and did nothing to stop it then you should be banned from the game. If I were a player on a team like either of those, I would be embarrassed for everyone involved. You really have to resort to THAT to win because you don’t think you are good enough to beat someone? Winning at all costs is not something I subscribe to.
