It’s not even a political issue at this point. It’s a matter of respect for your opponent. Same as the Olympics. We weren’t booing other countries anthems. They showed a blatant disrespect for their opponent and that’s on them. We can play that game too. It wouldn’t be an issue if they just kept their mouths shut and play the game. There is a reason USA started 3 fights to start the game. Both countries songs were played but ours was the one that was booed. The final is being playing in Boston so just me, knowing my pettiness, I would start playing “O Canada” and then abruptly turn it off after the first few words and then start playing “The Star-Spangled Banner” through its entirety. That’s just how I roll. I don’t take it personally whenever our opponents fans boo “Rocky Top”. Do that all you want but prepare yourself for the consequences of it. I always default to the motto of “keep that same energy”.

Probably referring to that World Series clinching Game 5. Dodgers scored 5 runs with 2 outs in the 5th inning to tie the game and would eventually win 7-6. Yankees also blew Game 1 whenever they had that late lead and Freddie hit that grand slam. Instead of it being a 3-2 series in favor of the Yankees they imploded in two critical games and gifted the Monstars a title.

Goodness I thought I was reading a typo. BYU beat #23 Kansas 91-57 in Men’s Basketball. That is tied for the worst margin of defeat in the Bill Self era and the deficit reached 38 at one point. They had already been dropped to a projected 5 seed after losing to Utah but will drop even further now and still have #9 Texas Tech, #5 Houston, and #19 Arizona to finish the season so there is a strong possibility they finish the regular season 19-12 (10-10). That would be his worst season ever since taking over Kansas in 2003-04.
