@Volprofch05 I think it’s safe to say coaching cost you a chance to win that game. You have a rookie QB on the road with a running clock after a 1st down and 34 seconds left but choose not to call a timeout whenever you have 2 of them. Instead, the next play ends with an incomplete pass and 17 valuable seconds run off the clock. So you are stuck attempting a 56 yard field goal with a kicker that’s only been there 2 weeks with a career long of 53 yards, whenever you could have gotten an attempt inside of 50 yards. Morris did not put his rookie into a position to succeed on that last drive and that loss is 100% on him.
Meanwhile, the guy on the other sideline that got your organization to a Super Bowl has his team solidly in the playoffs and will have an advantageous path to advancing to the divisional round with a win next week.
