I admit that college basketball's quality of play has dwindled. The offensive game has been very limited lately. But really, if you want to open up the game, it's easy.
1. Have a 30 second or 24 second shot clock. You can run three plays in 35 seconds. That's ridiculous.
2. Extend the three point shot to the NBA's standards. This will free up driving space.
3. Make ten seconds half court to eight seconds. This will make people jog up the court, not walk the ball.
4. Have defensive three seconds. It's silly with such talented players we don't have this rule. It really frees up the NBA game and it would do the same for college.
But instead, we'll have to watch three months of **** basketball that will slow the game and make it even worse before it gets better, instead of simple solutions to fix the problems.
