Just saw the trailer on another site. Excited, but preparing for disappointment. If the hipster dude is Ash, then I'll just give up.

Pretty sleek production. Part of the appeal to the original is that it was borderline campy though.

I may have missed it in the trailer but is Sam Rami involved?

No Bruce Campbell in any form is sad to me, was hoping at the least he'd be the floating ghost head. The good thing is nobody else is gonna be Ash, I read somewhere that a girl is gonna be the main hero. Side note I saw the musical last year, that was a lot of fun.

I'm excited to see this, though Evil Dead without Bruce isn't the same. Heard was in the new Oz movie, anyone know if that's true?

I saw the world premier in Morristown and used to party at the old movie site close to Panther Creek State Park. I can remember Raimi and Campbell arriving at the premier smoking a joint and drinking Jack. Still have the literature, tickets and hand outs from that night. great memories.
