Cornell is about to clinch the Ivy and become the first team into the brackets.

How far do you think they can go in the big dance?

Hat,

What is Memphis chance of making tourney as an at large?
I think they're in tough shape. They need to at least make the C-USA Tournament final and hope that, for example, Wichita State or Illinois State don't win the MVC. If they get in, they'll be one of the last couple of teams in the field.

Murray State is in.

I want to call them my sleeper, but I'm waiting for brackets.

From what I've seen they aren't bad.

Extremely balanced, I thought this was crazy.

PPG:

Ivan Aska 10.6
B.J. Jenkins 10.6
Tony Easley 10.5
Danero Thomas 10.5
Isaiah Canaan 10.2
Isacc Miles 9.5

Doesn't seem like they have a lot of production after that.

Still, 30 wins, maybe they get an opening game upset.

Cornell looks like an 11 or 12 at the moment. Given the right matchup, they might just be a Sweet Sixteen team. I think they'll win at least one game.

They are a balanced team who could give an undisciplined team fits.

I've followed them since the Popeye Jones days and would love for them to finally get a tournament win.

I played against Popeye in some summer leagues when I was in highschool. I was a rising senior and he, I believe, had just finished his last year of college, but that was by far the strongest human being I have ever met on a basketball court. I think he actually dented the floor at EKU with an all-state big man from Louisville while wrestling for a rebound.

When I was a kid, my dad was in the administration of a school that was in Dresden's district in basketball and they usually played 3 or 4 times a year once you got into all of the tournaments. Watching him go up against other big men in single A ball was down-right comical, even to a kid not even 10 years old. He was a man among boys out there. His Dresden team that won state in 88 could have probably won AAA that year. Probably the only other comparison I've ever seen in domination of big men in person was when Steve Hamer was at Middleton.

When he went to Murray I just started casually keeping up with them through box scores and all because of him. I'd just like to see them win a game in the dance, as long as it isn't against UT.
