This list looks pretty solid this early out. Both of UT '11 commits are in the top 100.

Anthony Johnson- 5star, #12 overall, #2 in LA, #2 DT
Eric MacLain- 4star, #82 overall, #3 in NC, #11 OL

Antonio Richardson is the only player from the state of TN listed. The only problem I have is they do not have Jeremy Hill ranked. Not sure how he is not in there...

you could add alot of players to that list........I was surprised that only 1 TN kid made it.......when at least 8 have d-1 offers from 2011

Anthony Johnson at #32? haha, no...

MacLain at #167? No...

Jabriel at #53? Maybe at one point, but his stock has been dropping for a while now ever since he went to summer camps. Still hope he ends up a Vol though...

Devrin at #60? lol...

Being from TN doesn't make them better...

Lord I'm not say being from TN makes them better....but I dont think you can overlook a player because he is from TN either.....or just because these players play in another state they are better....I mean if you see it as you say...then you would have to see it from that perspective as well....you have to be fair about it...

and how has Jabriel stock dropped when he has more offers already than 50% of the players on that list....including UT...who only recruits the best....I think many of you are buying into one summer camp performance too much because obviously his stock has risen....how can you have 10 + offers on Sept 1st and your stock is dropping???? That makes no sense

Again I didnt say that list was accurate...but I think my orginal point still remains....the inclusion of some TN kids is warranted...now I didnt say the list had to include those particular kids that you mentioned on FVsports list.......

but I would think that a state that produces more players than Michigan and if it were the same size as Cali would produce just as many players......would have more than one player on the list.....

It just sounded like his camp performances hurt his stock quite a bit. May not be the case. Just the way I've been taking it. I don't think he is a top 50 player...

I mean seriously how could his stock drop and he has 10 + offers......I'm sure you believe that TN only recruits the best...right??? so why is it so hard for you to believe Jabriel is a top 50 player......I mean the early offers are justification alone.... only a handful of players on either list have as many offers as him.....people said he "fell off" yet on Sept 1st....college coaches didnt see it that way...even CLK who recruits nationally extended an offer....I just dont get it.....we rag on instate players who acheive at the highest level ...but give to other OOS commits like Johnson and MacClain....you laughed at where these guys where on Drakes list...yet Jabriel has more offers than both of these kids combined right now...

but I know its your opinion....so I have to respect it..

But to further illustrate my point TN kids went out on the combine and camp circuit and were among the best kids at any camp settings.......the UT and UCLA camp is example...with Devrin Young....I mean he was among the top kids at both camps coast to coast and already has excelled against many of those camp kids at other combine around south over 2 years....yet you even laugh at him being 60....maybe those guys just think he's that good.......could be right...could be wrong...but its good for the state when players are talked about nationally...I mean I dont think Harbaugh would have told devrin that if he committed they would not recruit any more RBs if he wasnt good....

MacLain and Jabriel are around the same area although I would rather have MacLain. Jabriel is, however, not on the same planet as Anthony Johnson. Why would anyone offer Johnson? He is committed to UT and the only other school with a shot is LSU. That's like saying Jacques isn't any good because he only has 2 offers. Jabriel is a very good player, and UT should have offered him. I just don't think he is a top 50 player...

I don't rag on in-state players. I just don't overrate players because they are from TN. The Vols now have a ton of TN players who are starters. Jabriel is a very solid player. Are there 50 juniors in the country better than him? Yes imo...

maybe their are 50 JRs better who knows......nobody is asking you to overrate players either...I know you dont rag on instate players either....I'm just saying though that it shouldnt be surprising that he is a top 50 type player....the offers like I said themselves prove that he is.....worthy to be in the discussion...IMO

I think Jabriel is on the same planet as Johnson....now Johnson could end up being the better player...but they are on the same planet...Johnson if not committed would have just as many offers as Jabriel...even if Johnson had more they would be on the same planet.......there are not many 10+ offer guys on either list right now....
