Hey guys! VolNation really hasn't had a podcast since Freak started the site. We decided to change that and do a weekly podcast covering Vols football and basketball. Me (Zack) and fellow VN poster 005 have decided to take up the task and give you one. It will be about 30 minutes (maybe 45 for a preseason special) and will be on blogtalkradio.com (here is our site link: VolNation Power-T Talk Online Radio by VolNation Power T Talk | BlogTalkRadio) and there is a download link underneath the video. If you haven't catched 005's articles on here in the forum you should (here is his latest one: http://www.volnation.com/forum/tenn...14s-most-important-comparative-adjective.html) and I will try and hopefully do some post game reports this year. We plan on doing a couple more preseason podcasts for football and when the season starts, we will spend about 15 minutes on reviewing the previous game and 15 minutes looking forward to the next game. We are also working on getting it on to itunes and I will let you know when we get that up.

Nice job. For the sake of posterity I think that there was a call in style podcast in the past. If I wasn't posting from my phone I'd do a search in the archives.

Yeah, Larkin and I did a podcast/call-in show for a while back in the day called VolNation Live. I still have some great memories from those shows, like Larkin trying to convince everyone that his Arian Foster jersey was really an Al Wilson jersey. :lol:

We had a stable bank of callers, I specifically remember oz and bigdaddy, and I think gaterh8ter_eric. There were many others. We had a good time with it.

I'm looking forward to hearing zjc and 005.

VolNation Live was awesome :) I remember calling in the day of Tebow's first start against us and predicting that he would flop..:fool: would love to see it back sometime!

Thanks for the recognition of my beer soaked calls. :mad: Why don't zjc and 005 have part of the peapod interactive with live callers.

Freak, this post brings me to a question I've always been curious about. There is always VN member turnover but when you stick around long enough, you notice that some fairly respected posters just disappear and never post again. Do you ever try to contact any of those "back in the day" posters that aren't around any more? And why did "faildozer" get banned? That was an urban legend years ago. I will hang up and listen.
