Hey guys! VolNation really hasn't had a podcast since Freak started the site. We decided to change that and do a weekly podcast covering Vols football and basketball. Me (Zack) and fellow VN poster 005 have decided to take up the task and give you one. It will be about 30 minutes (maybe 45 for a preseason special) and will be on blogtalkradio.com (here is our site link: VolNation Power-T Talk Online Radio by VolNation Power T Talk | BlogTalkRadio) and there is a download link underneath the video. If you haven't caught 005's articles on here in the forum you should (here is his latest: http://www.volnation.com/forum/tenn...14s-most-important-comparative-adjective.html) and I will try and hopefully do some post game reports this year. We plan on doing a couple more preseason podcasts for football and when the season starts, we will spend about 15 minutes on reviewing the previous game and 15 minutes looking forward to the next game. We are also working on getting it on to itunes and I will let you know when we get that up.

I'm going to check this out when I get home. Great idea, I've actually thought of doing something similar but maybe just generalized and not full UT. Anyways, I'll let you know what I think later

Any chance of a call in show? Would be awesome to have that back where VN members can call in and talk football ever week.

Subscribed and will be listening to it on the work commute tomorrow. I've been looking for any type of UT related podcast, so this is much appreciated. :hi:

I'm currently in sports management and thinking of getting a minor in journalism or communication.

Also I'm listening to this now, about 10 mins in and it's done really well. Like when I've listened to other UT podcasts (not name dropping) they sounds awkward and forced. When I listen to this it sounds like a conversation and discussion about UT sports by people who like UT sports.

Yup, I had the same impression when I had reached the end. Of course, this being their first run they had some bumps in the road where there were some pauses and a couple to many "uhhhs", but overall this was a fantastic product. The fact that this is more or less the trial run makes it even more impressive.

As a side note, on the final speed question segment you should both give your answer and reasoning before the next person answers IMO. Would just be smoother.
