This is just too funny. CBP at a fundraising event earlier today......

"I've got a tough job. I've got to put these guys from different worlds together, right? I've got guys from Chicago, Detroit ... I'm talking about the 'hood! And I've got guys from Grainger County, where they wear the hood.''

......He later appologized for the comment, but I hear everybody there thought it was hilarious. I would have given all the money I had if I would have been there!

I think BP is someone who could get away with this. Let Lane try saying something like that and they would be on him like white on rice. BP was walking a fine line when he said this. I remember in the early 80's that this might have been acceptable to say in a joking manner but now a days you are playing Russian roulette with comments like that.

Lane is forced to apologize to a whole town but Bruce will get away with this. Wonder if there's football in the Maccabi games...

Kiffin needs to run through the T covered in bodypaint Saturday night. That allows you to say whatever you want and the media just giggles like 10 year olds watching Beavis and Butthead dvds.

I think the whole damn country needs to lighten up and not take every off comment so serious. Is it a fact that there are still KKK members still lurking in the south....yup. Is it a fact that there are some pretty rough areas in Chicago and Detroit that most people would call the "hood" ? yup.

"There's no hard feelings at all,'' Doug McBee said. "We are country up here, but we're not prejudice. It was a joke, and that's how I took it.''

ha yeah well I got some against you, I grew up in grainger county and doug mcbee was my high school principal at the time, lets just say he is a top of the line douchebag

Yea, I caught that on the news. He may have apologised, however truthful the statement, it no longer seems to apply when it comes to being politically correct.

What did you guys expect Doug McBee to do. His son plays for Pearl he's not going to say they were offended or anything

I understand that, the man said something to me that a person in a teaching position should never say to someone so I have no respect for him.
