I see so much negative bs on here it makes me sick! Coach Jones is NOT going to run a puzz-SPREAD offense! He`s going to run a BAMA KILLER OFFENSE!!! I WANT TO BEAT BAMA worse than anything! I`d prefer we go 1-11 and beat Bama 10-9 as go 11-1 and they beat us by 1 point! Look at FLA in 06&08! Look at Au in 10! Look at A&M! Look at EVERY SINGLE GAME BAMA HAS LOST THE PAST 4 YEARS AND HOW! AND WHO! Also,Coach Jones is a proven winner. He will NOT let our kids implode if we fall behind or lose! He will KICK THEM IN THEIR REARS AND SAY" not That way! THIS WAY!" He will recruit great,coach great, AND GIVE HIS ALL FOR TENNESSEE!!!!

I don't see enough negativity to warrant starting threads. I see way more threads bashing the "negative" than I actually see negative posts...

I'm just happy to have a coach that wants to be at TN, I'm guessing that most on volnation can't predict the future, so I'll just reserve my opinion on his coaching ability in the sec until I see him coach next year :cool:

Emotional post aside, he's right about how Bama has lost. This may be the way to consistantly beat them and other big defenses.

I can't imagine what it must be like to actually have to interact with some people on a personal level. Wow. I'm getting in line with the hire and I'm going to support my Vols. But,geez dude,chill.

Fast pace offenses wear their own defenses down by not being on the field enough..

That's partially why our defense was crap this year..

Tennessee has a sliver of a chance to beat Alabama,and it's not outscoring them..tried that in 2012

I remember when Sal was announced. All the sunshine pumpers talking about how he was the key and how he would get in the players face and kick their butts and show how to defend Bama yada, yada, yada

Maybe you ought to try blowing some sunshine and roses and see if it will not make you feel better, as well as those around you.

Fast pace offenses wear their own defenses down by not being on the field enough..

That's partially why our defense was crap this year..

We ddn't have enough depth of defense to keep up with the scoring pace of the offense. If we had enough depth on D and we we could have forced more 3 and outs our D might have worn our offense out by getting them back on the field too quickly. :good!:

I apologize for my emotional outburst. It was not a very eloquent post. It is difficult to post long arguments when you have a fiancee` wanting attention as much as I have. My point is the ONLY offense to beat Bama without a huge lead to start the game(which is the best way 2 beat bammer as it takes away their ball-control gameplan and makes them have to pass)is Aubie when they came from 0-24 to win 28-27. And LSU`s 9-6 OT win,which was an aberration. Bammer beat themselves that game. Aubie,A&M,and Fla all used similar offensive schemes as Jones will. Jones has already stated many times he will run a scheme suited to his players` strengths. Iqve watched Jones at CMU& UC. He ran more when he had a good RB. His RB averaged 11 yds a carry on Wilcox`s vaunted D. I`m a realist. I`m not a sunshine pumper. I know as much or more about football as 85% of people on here. I say that because 15% are probably coaches and players and I`ve not played since 95. I just want people to be enthusiastic. This is a REAL COACH! GIVE HIM ALL YOUR SUPPORT! GO VOLS!

Stopped reading at you being happier with 1-11 with win over bama rather than 11-1 with loss to bama. Pretty dumb really. Btw jones will bring us back to winning championships. Go vols!
