since this board is so dead tonite i was bored enough to browse around and find this, just wondering if it was the first ever thread created on volnation?

Yes and no. That's the first thread after Freak switched servers. Volnation actually predates this post by a short period of time, but I think all those posts went up in smoke.

yeah I remember when ther would be more members in the arcade than posting to the forums and when Otis was the only one that would talk to me I also remember the good ol days when GaVol had a classy avatar, WHOOOOOO!

. . . and Raptor and countless others that we've made disappear before you probably even saw them. We've had quite a moron Hall of Fame.

Don't worry Volmanjr, I'll bring back the classy avatar one day here soon to once again brighten your life. Of course, I don't think it's any coincidence that I was made a Mod shortly AFTER I switched away from the "classy" avatar.

he kept yelling WHOOOOO at the other mods until they agreed to make him a mod if he promised to get rid of the orange spandex jumpsuit (and he slipped Freak a couple of benjamins)

I remember when I first joined that LIO was always talking a lot and yelling at everyone.

It scared me

Ok, I am lying a bit but I did enjoy her ;)

would have taken my shot earlier but i've been having trouble logging on since about 10 this morning....anybody else having trouble? Ihave been alot since we switched servers
