Superbowl 40 is going to be one of the best Superbowls I have ever watched. I think one big key is which defense can stop the running game. I think the Steelers will pull it out though. After they beat the Colts & the Broncos like they did, I dont see them losing to the Seahawks. The Steelers will be the Champs!!

 Have to agree with you! Steelers by 7. :dance2: Could be more.
Will it be a shootout (i.e. 34-31) or more of a defensive game (i.e. 24-17)?
I'm sure we won't see a 17-14 game with both teams throwing the ball.

Have to pick the Seahawks because I grew up a Cowboys fan and cannot stand the Steelers. Maybe if Seattle wins Fox will make Terry Bradshaw get a Seahawk tattoo on his bald spot.

only when the two teams absolutely blow. i bet the NFL is pulling its hair out.

they are using it as Bettis' homecoming to sell it. yeah that makes me wanna watch it so much.

and at halftime we get to see the Rolling Stones perform in their wheelchair. whoopee.

Personally I wish the Colts would have went, but the Steelers & the Seahawks were the best teams. They put everyone out that yall wanted to see, so I guess they deserve to be there. I think it will be a fun game to watch myself.

disgruntled Colts fan? ah, it doesn't matter....the Steelers are a good draw for the NFL...and the Seahawks present a novelty item to the SB....both fan bases will be stoked.

there's enough star power from Big Ben, Hines Ward and Jerome Bettis and Shaun Alexander to keep the football fan in it's seat....

And you got to admit this...isn't it nice not to be talking about the Patriots or Eagles this year???

Along these lines I heard some dabating on this upcoming superbowl. Its a show where 4-5 sportswriters, reporters, etc rant on subject matter and the shows host gives em points during in a round table contest. I do'nt recall the shows name just now, but....woody paige is one of the regular sports figures, and behind him I noticed a bookcase type background that had a ''SMOKEY'' mascot doll, with a big power T on a shirt...looked cool.

that show is around the horn....woody is a regular on there, and he always has something to do with UT in the back ground....not a bad show.

I like Around The Horn. Woody is the UT alum on there. Watching him vs. Skip Bayless on 1st and Ten is a lot better, Bayless being a Vandy alum.

did not know that about Skip...interesting...i'm sure it was interesting around there after the Vandy game this past season...ugh.

and the Steelers are well balanced, on both sides of the ball, as are the seahawks...i'm still not convinced though, that if you don't turn the ball over against the hawks that their D can just over power you and stop a good offense consistently.

and that won't be Nick Goings and HIS back up that D will have to stop....and the Steelers have more than one option at WR. It'll be a good game....Seattle definitely impressed though.

I think this game will be a close game, I dont think the Steelers will kill Seattle or anything. Seattle really impressed me when they beat Carolina the way they did. Steelers have had some impressive wins also though. The biggest one beating the Colts. This will probaly come down to the last drive with the Steelers winning

I don't think the Steelers win over the Colts was THAT impressive. Honestly, the Colts offensive line has been playing like a piece of swiss cheese since that loss to San Diego.

that's easy to say now, but what about the previous 13 games? c'mon. No one, includingme, thought the Steelers would win that game....

What the Steelers have done the past month has been very impressive. One of the things that concern me, besides the Hawks being very good, is that this run the Steelers are on, they'll run out of gas eventually....

lol. i hate the colts. i am a titans fan. i know they suck, spare me. these teams just seem to bore me. who the hell is seattle anyway. they are 10,000 miles away and they have that damn bammer alexander. just turns my stomach to think about this game.

on a side not, dont yall love how radio stations cant say SUPER BOWL. they keep saying "come watch the BIG GAME, here or there" the nfl needs to quit being so stuck up. it is a word my god.
