Anyone else looking forward to it? Since the Lord of the Rings trilogy ended I've been waiting for Jackson to make this into a film. His plan is for two parts with part one being released in 2012.

There was/is trouble in New Zealand with the union and at one time, I thought that the actual filming of the movie was in jeopardy because of the unions demands. :unsure:

I loved this book growing up. My mom had an awesome version, with pretty elaborate pictures.

Hopefully they don't ruin it.

I've tried to actually read it, safe to say I couldn't get past the first few chapters.
