Nothing will be able to stand in its way until next Friday's release of the The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug so I see it having no problem in getting there.

Obviously I'm not going to throw out a spoiler but there is a pretty big tell at one point in the movie. I even leaned over to ask someone who had read the books and she gave me the deadpan "I guess we'll find out." which always indicates that's the story.

I only went because a gaggle of geese known as one of my nieces and her friends wanted me to go as did her dad so he wouldn't be the only guy there. I never even saw the first one but I didn't mind sitting through this one much at all.

I recently read the all three books in the span of about 3 weeks! I then pulled out my Blu-ray of the first film and watched it and was surprised by how good it was.

I was kinda shocked at how graphic the books are considering the target audience is tweens & teens.
