The Internship (2013) - IMDb

Starring: Will Ferrell, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn.

I hadn't heard of this movie.

Last week I was on GT's campus and walked in the student center with a friend. The whole building was decked out in Google stuff. We walked through the major fairway of the building and accidentally right through a movie scene. Almost bumped into Vince Vaughn. I was totally shocked. Apparently the building is suppose to be Google's headquarters. I had no idea they were filming a movie at GT.

So BC, you know what is up with this movie? Any chance you are an extra on your boy's latest movie? Is the suppose to be any good?

I guess there's a certain appeal for a pair of 40-somethings to invade a world populated primarily by 20-something hipsters.

I haven't noticed Will Farrell in any of the trailers I've seen. Honestly, I hope he's not in the movie at all.

I have a feeling this is going to be one of those movies where the only funny lines are those in the trailer.

Saw the trailer when I went to see Star Trek. At first I thought it was a Wedding Crashers sequel. It looked like one of those movies you watch on Comedy Central 3-4 years later when nothing else worth watching is on.

More than likely that's what the movie studio hopes most people think. Vaughn and Wilson haven't had a strong hit in a long time.

They're getting old.

That and their time in the spotlight is pretty much over, as far as the movies they used to make. They were killing it in the from 2000-2007ish, but now they've gone into the Adam Sandler routine of making the same type movie over and over. Which you could argue they did that before but now they aren't nearly as funny.

I have hopes just because of Aasif Mandvi being in it. but other than that... probably not.

I can tell the movie will be a failure. Curious to see what rotten tomatoes and IMDB rate it.

I wasn't necessarily referring to your post but I've seen on Facebook/Twitter others say sorta the same thing.

Oh ok. It seems like I rarely ever agree with critics anyways lol. If you want to see it, go see it. I don't think you'd be disappointed.

Loved the duo in Wedding Crashers, but this looks stupid. I'd still like to see it because I like Vaughn.

It was really good. Owen Wilson is the only negative to the movie, imo. His "whisper talk" was too much.
