One of the issues here is the throw-away phones. Its next to impossible for the NCAA to pin throw-away cell phone use on any coach. The self imposed UT penalaties were for the "picture", but used to scare other coaches from using throw away phones. Kind of like a "we have this dirt on you (picture), but take a fall for this (throw away phones), because it will have more of an impact."

the main issue here is that everything that's found out later is going to be brought forward later is going be deemed a more serious "And you lied to us about this"

anything the NCAA could find that anyone here would have tried to cover up is really the big issue
