The Jayhawk meltdown begins

Eh, I wouldn't consider that a meltdown. Seem like pretty level headed fans to me. Only a few were complaining.

All the KU fans I've talked too and know are knowledgable, respectible guys. I even had a few UK fans act classy after this. Amazing win for the SEC and the Vols

An AWESOME win! I only saw the first half. Now would be good to knock off UK when the Vols play them. It's great to be a TENNESSEE VOL!

The more I read it the more I realize that some of those guys have to be trolls.

But all the Kansas fans I know are melting down right now. Maybe it's because they're younger guys, idk.

I liked this comment to the Kentucky fan about their 16-0 start...

"Too bad those 16 wins will be erased the year after Calipari leaves."

"CBS. CBS cost us this game. The TV timeouts alone guaranteed that Tennessee would have all the rest it needed. Every single highlight all game long was Tennessee."

I like this one. Apparently CBS was favoring Tennessee during their mandatory (same as they always are) media timeouts. Also not sure what the last sentence means or how it is relevant.

LOL.

From what I seen they are not in meltdown mode. They even have a Congrats to Tennessee thread. Most of them seemed very classy to me!

Every board has idiots (some rivals) who "meltdown" and flame about rival fans, refs, and other such things. No matter who the team is.

Likewise, every board has knowledgeable courteous fans (some rivals) who show respect and carry on civilized conversation. Its the same with all teams, though the Blue goggle UK fans are on par with the Bammer pigskin fans.

North Carolina fans were doing the same flaming on their boards after the UK loss. Officials, time-outs, etc etc. Its just how it goes.

Well of course they were. Knock off #1 and they are one step closer to moving up the rankings.

Maybe. But I could give a crap less about rankings before conference season. I like the UT win for what it does for the conference, and for our games against each other. If at the end of the year both are ranked in the top 10 with wins against Kansas,NC, UConn, etc.. then both schools win.

A win against either team is great, and a loss against either team is not bad on the resume.

LOL.

The extra workouts had nothing to do with Tennessee's stamina. :p
