Did anyone catch the season premiere last night? For anyone who doesn't know what this is, it's a parody of "reality shows" set up as a reality show. They take one real guy who thinks he's in a competition on a show to win a job as a bounty hunter. There are 9 other competitors and 3 other characters on the show that are actors and are in on the whol thing. They poke fun at all the stereotypes that are always on the other reality shows and then push them about 5 steps further. The first episode was hilarious and I hope the rest of them can keep it up because IMO it's right up there with Impractial Jokers as far as funny and how out there it is. It is on Spike on Tuesday nights at 10 eastern but knowing Spike they'll be showing this weeks probably every night until next week so you can catch it at least tonight at 9 and 10.

they did, maybe even longer ago than that but so far this one is tons better. being on spike they pretty much push it as far as what they're allowed to do or say on cable tv.

I think it was more like 10. I think they actually did two seasons of it that lasted maybe 6 episodes each. Loved it the first time around. It's hilarious watching them treat the contestants like rats in a maze manipulating the competitions and the votes. It's like a big sociology experiment being carried out by a team of comedy writers.

I actually caught just a little bit of this by accident. The dude was freaking out because he was teamed up with a deaf girl and had to talk to her to defuse a bomb vest he was supposed to wear. They sold it well that the vest was real.

I like this show, but I'd be pissed if I was the Joe. I'd feel like such an idiot at the end.

I'm guessing the "deaf girl" didn't blow the whole thing when she reacted to the guy talking about her strong arms? That seems like it would be almost impossible to act like you are deaf, blind, etc. and not accidentally let it slip.

i don't know how long the show took as far as filming and having to stay in character but you're right, even a week or two would be hard to stay in character as a deaf person the whole time

She also reacted to the cork popping. Definitely has the most difficult role on the show.

this doesn't seem to be carrying on as well as i'd hoped for. started off pretty funny but has kind of died off over the past few weeks but i'm invested now enough to follow it through to the end.

I agree. I think most of the problem is that more than anything I feel bad for Chase. He seems like a genuinely good guy who really cares about being a bounty hunter. I think the joke would be a lot funnier if it we being perpetrated against a total douche instead of a nice guy. Like you, I'll watch it through the end just to see how it all plays out though.

randy is funny at times but i think i've laughed more at the deaf girl when she uses the doll more than any thing else.

Random thing I found out, the guy that plays Allen "the buddy", is James Belushis son and of course Johns nephew.

i wondered about that, i had noticed the last name before but for some reason last night it finally registered that he could be part of the belushis.

So the chick, that plays that girl that liked the black guy. Was on Californication tonight, topless, excellent rack. Lol
