The key stretch…

…was the last minute of the first and 1st minute of the 2nd half.

Wright fumbles when we appeared to have a tying field goal, at the worst.

Then in 20 seconds they run the ball up the middle and get well within field goal range.

Then we try the option pitch and nearly lost a fumble on back to back plays.

I felt it was our first possession. After mizz drives the field and controls the clock, we stop them with an interception! Our offense gets on the field, goes 3 and out, and our defense goes right back out there.

The coach and this team play much better with the lead. It’s rate when we don’t score on our first possession. It’s even rarer when we don’t even get a first down.
