The kicking game

We haven't said much about it but another key to our success will lie at the feet of our kickers. I would venture to say that a game or 2 the season will come down to a field goal. and Dustin can really keep the pressure off the D with another season like last year.

Obviously we have the best punter in the nation but I am not nearly as confident in our kicking game. Wilhoit hasn't shown me that consistency yet. Maybe this will be his year.

i agree colquit is the best punter. one of the keys to great football is field position. especialy when the games get close. lets say ut had an average punter in contrast to colquit, it could lose us 10 to 15 yards of feild postion each punt. with the new qbs coming in, we will probably be punting a good number of times this year. the yards add up and could mean the difference between 1st and 2nd in the sec.

:unsure: Sometimes its not just the Kicker,maybe the holder and line,got to be just right.you know?
