The Lady vols close out the regular season with a 2-1 victory in OT

I was holding my breath when we were trailing 1-0 and breathed a huge sigh of relieved when Katie Cousins hit the PK in the 70th minute. Then in the OT Bunny did what Bunny does and finished of her senior night in style. Anybdoy that watches what Bunny does with the ball at her feet can't help but be amazed. We were very fortunate to have had her for two years.

That was just way too much drama for an old guy like me. On to Orange Beach as the two seed and unless my calculations are off we finish alone in second place in the league standings. I don't think the girls played their best soccer tonight and Mizzou played a determined, and VERY physical, match, but as we all know, any win is a good win. Great way to close out the season. Hats off to Katie and Bunny and also Maya and MA for some stellar defense.

Yep we looked somewhat stagnant for much of the game especially before KC scored. BS in the game we always have a good chance to win. Lets enjoy her while we can!

yeah, SV, me too...thought I was watching another team...like before they went on a tirade against A&M...I don't get it...then Katie, then Bunny with the Golden Goal...those ladies can keep you on the edge of your seat...
