Enjoy it ladies and gentlemen, it was a good run. After this year, it just won’t be the same

I agree it won't be the same; it could potentially be even better. It gives teams that compete in these conferences titles that are outside the top 12 more to play for IMO. We might see more upsets/excitement because of that.

The CFP committee should emphasize the results of the Conference Championship games in the playoff seeding .... in order to receive a bye, you must be your conference champion? Something like that.

I think we can all agree that the basketball conference tournament championship games are meaningless because the Selection Committee doesn't pay attention to them unless they involve teams who might not otherwise get a bid.

They will be emphasizing the results of conference title games. The top four seeds, who receive a bye, are the four highest rated conference champions. A team that doesn’t win the conference can not receive a bye.

That's good to hear. That's how it should be.

I don't mind the expanded playoff that much, but I hate conferences losing their regional ties. Texas and Oklahoma have no business being in the SEC (neither does TAMU or Mizzou, or South Carolina and Arkansas for that matter).

Don't get me started on USC and friends joining the yankees.

The WWE belt/Big 12 logo on the field of that championship game is interesting. I wonder when we'll see college football fans start tearfully proclaiming "It's still real to me dammit!"
