First in a good while.

Before the forums software upgrade a and a half or so back, a thread could only hold X number of posts (forgot how many.) Posters tried to get the last post in before the thread was closed and a new one started.

Now a thread can hold an indefinite number, so no one will be the Last Person. But the thread will not die!

And you’d be right. But, the miracle of modern logistics makes fresh key limes available at farmers markets across continents. Gotta have that pie no matter where you are.

On the other hand, coconut cream ain’t got the same draw. Know what I mean? Sure, I can walk into a pie shop just about anywhere and lo, there’s a coconut cream pie for sale, but I’m not moved to consume it. All day out on the ocean or surf side, a little rum, and I’m gonna eat that pie.
