Really summarize well Dooley's inability to manage the game and the clock at a high level.

Our drive before we punted the ball back to Mizzou, there was 5:32 left on the clock. We didn't even TRY to milk to clock there, and only took off 49 seconds off the clock. I mean, even HS coaches know you try to milk to the clock to make the other team use their timeouts. This is obviously where the tide really turned for us before OT. It took Mizzou 3:56 to score the tying TD.

Then we get the ball back for 43 seconds and at the 39 yard line. Well, we all know that we have kicker problems, but we didn't even give them a chance. We ran two plays for 0 yards, and didn't even TRY to move the ball down the field to try. I knew sitting in XX3 yesterday, that once I saw that, we were going to lose.

That was not only the most heartbreaking loss I have ever seen in Neyland, but the most embarrassing as well, especially when their team rushed the field. Oh yeah, and Bobby Denton welcoming Mizzou to the SEC and Neyland, after they wono, I just about freaking lost it.

If anyone still supports Dooley after yesterday, I honestly don't really know how you could.

Honestly Eric none of that surprised me.. We've seen it too many times.. Last year in the Vandy game was enough proof to me that Dooley couldn't manage a game worth a crap..

Yeah, I looked over and told my fiance that I've seen this movie before, and it ends the same each time.

I think there were signs of it even in his first year.. Those second half meltdowns weren't all about depth and talent.. He had a excuse the first year and he used to to the fullest extent.. Mike Hamilton should be found and flogged... Jimmy Cheek needs a good flogging also..

The "Last Drive" will go down as one of the biggest coaching blunders in UT History. But the game had others..like when the Defense couldn't decide on a Time-out and Mizzou ran in for a TD. As Cartervol said we've seen this story too many times; a few a game for the last couple of years that have paid a bad price.

I feel sorry for the players above everything else. You already know that Bray and co. wanted to take their shots at the end of the game but Dooley wouldn't let them. This coaching staff plays not to lose instead of playing to win and it shows. That being said I thank Dooley for at least providing a solid foundation of players and for bringing some class back to UT after the Kiffin debacle, and I wish him success wherever he ends up next.

My question was where was CP? Was he hurt, Bray just fall in love with Hunter, couldn't find a way to get him the ball? What gives? Hell put him in the backfield and hand him the ball. Tight ends catch 10 or more passes but we still try and force feed Hunter on a fade that Bray can't throw and Hunter can't catch.

The fade in OT was completely catchable but Hunter tangled his feet and couldn't get up enough for it.

Most heartbreaking? IMO, not even close.

Most conclusive, absolutely.

The are no unanswered questions or possible speculations re CDD now.

We continue to find new ways to lose games late. It's astounding. Our offense never comes through when we need it, and our coaches screw up, and our kickers have been terrible, which f--ks with the heads of our coaches. Dooley has a knack for trying FGs when perhaps we should go for a first, and then he'll go for a first or do nothing when perhaps we should give a fg a shot.

How many games over the last two + years have we lost late--including games when we had a chance to score tying td late? It's got to be at least 8.

Why is our offense always hung out to dry should be the real question.

I can't understand not going for it, even T. Priest on the radio said loudly "What are they doing?" right there at the end of the game almost as if he didn't know his mike was on or something. Makes you believe everyone is on the same page in regards to the game management. WTH!

I heard that. It was definitely picked up by someone else's mic. He sounded astonished.

Not so tangled that it went right thru both hands and bounced off his chest. He dropped it

We ran CP more than ever. Can't fault Chaney for that. The fade was the right call- just didn't make a play. I thought we should have spread out and run on 2 point try to win the game.
