I was watching Channel 5 news out of Memphis and they reported a story that Tennessee would be either building or naming a room the "Lofton recruiting room". Couldn't have happened to a better person. Lofton was one of my favorite players

Bruce misses him also. I think we should be able to do like the NFL and Franchise a player and keep him as long as we want. C-LO would never leave

Heck, I would never want him to leave. He was a leader and the definition of a tough, scrappy player.

Anyone have an update on Chris? I knew he had signed with a team in Spain, but it looks like he left the team a little over a month ago: Caja Laboral: Lofton leaves, Micov extended - Latest - Welcome to EUROLEAGUE BASKETBALL

I did a little digging on that site and found that Lofton didn't play in Round 3 (his first game on the roster from what I can tell). He played 19 minutes in round 4 and had 10 pts (2/3 from downtown, 1 ast, 2 reb). Then he didn't play at all in rounds 5 and 6. By round 7 he was off the roster entirely. Really hope this isn't anything health-related.

After Christmas he is joining another team.

He is everything that is right with sports. He gave everything he had every time out. I would put him up against anybody. He is by far my favorite Vol ever. I'm sayin football or basketball. His interview yesterday showed just how humble he still is. An amazing young man that will always have a place in my heart.

Actually he DID play very hard nose defense...now because of his lack of speed you may have missed it....I only wish we still had guys playing that hard on defense....Just ask Memphis if he plays defense.....Not only did he shoot theirs eyes out that night in Kville he harassed all night on defense....

He did have really quick hands and got himself a lot of steals.
