ESPN - In letters to Blank, jailed Vick says he's staying in shape - NFL

When they choose sides for football games in the yard at the United States Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kan., Michael Vick is the popular pick.
Twice for the same game, it seems.
In an interview with the New York Daily News, Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank said Vick is playing ball in prison to keep his body in shape, his arm limber and to pass the time.
"Apparently, there was a prison football team and he played quarterback for both sides," Blank told the Daily News in Monday's editions.

Good to know he's still keeping in shape

I'm getting fairly uneasy about this; I'm starting to think that Blank is going to be open to bringing him back. NO NO NO NO NO NO

He will be back as soon as the spread option takes the NFL by storm and he will be wanted on everyone's fantasy team.

Seriously though, he will probably play again, but it will not be in a Falcon jersey.

I don't care if he plays again; I just don't want it to be here. If he goes anywhere else, it'll be as a backup guy or a flier or something unimportant. But if the Falcons bring him back, then there will be a lot of fans who will expect him to be given his job as the starter back -- especially considering how badly the Falcons are likely to suck over the next couple of years -- and that will be like ripping the scab off a wound just after it's finally started to heal. This franchise doesn't need that.

I hope you're right. I would never have thought that Vick might have another chance here again. But when I hear that Blank is writing letters to Vick in prison, then I wonder.

I don't see any way Vick can avoid ending up on the Cincinnatti Bengals roster.
