I have not posted anything since the game this weekend, and I am suprized at how quick people are to jump all over the coaching staff and the players. We lost one to Flordia yeah it pisses me off and it burns my @$$ but you know what we deal with it. There were a lot of things that could have been done different but we cannot go back and change time. We focus on the LSU game this weekend and press on. Just because we lost one game doesn't mean we are going to be 1-10 this year. I don't know about everyone in here but win or lose I can still be proud of my Vols no matter what.

Didn't you know? We have hundreds of coaches on this site.

Thats right, and I am one of them. If what we saw Saturday night is the best RS has then Im going to apply for his job.

Just think...in a few months you could be screaming for the head of VOLBRIAN on a platter :biggrin2:

I feel like I am banging my head on the wall, I am tired of reading about how bad we are and how our coaches should do this and that. Well I think that they are the ones getting paid to make the calls not some one behind a computer desk. Don't get me wrong all of the posting is great but lay off the coaches and the team.

Tmo, I have shared your sentiment for a long time, but the more I watch replays of the game and think about how things went, I feel like a first-grader could have called a better game. ONCE AGAIN: IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.

We had them way outsized, with better depth, and a "heart-and-soul" guy knocked out of the game. So what did we do? Abandon the run, and SPECIFICALLY, abandon the left side of the line.

We pull the QB with the hot hand. Read that again.

With an ex-player on the opposing sideline, we call the same nonproductive plays that have been our staple for the past however many years, and completely fail to challenge the middle of the field.

At some point, you have to realize that it's not the kids on the field that are calling the plays and doing the instruction.

While I don't think it was all the coaches fault we lost this one (it was the bad execution) RS is still the most predictable coach in college football. This is why the offense has to execute every play correctly or we can't move the ball on a consistant basis.
