Based off the non fictional book the British Explorer Percy Fawcett goes to the Amazon finding evidence of a previously unknown advanced civilization that possibly once inhabited the area.
Still the Science establishment ridicules him and views indigenous populations as savages. He returns to the Amazon with his son and wife, plus a camp to prove his case.

So kind of the real life Indiana Jones.
Likely to be the most accurate depiction of the Amazon shown in a hollywood movie since it's based on a non fictional book.

This movie looks great and I will be seeing it this week.

Pretty astounding amazon studios responsible for disturbing a movie set in The Amazon.

Most of the animals look real so I'm guessing they used animatronics same technology used in the Jurrasic Park movie.
It is a spectacular movie that is a adventure drama movie. Marvelous sets and believable 3 dimensional characters.
