The meltdown that is happening on the Vandy message boards

Well they're definitely going to suck. I know UK played UTM, but from what I saw, I don't believe UK would have lost at home to Temple, and certainly not by 30.

In fact no other SEC team I saw play this weekend came close to the bad Vandy displayed, and while it was just one game, that looked like bad you can't fix quickly.

This. Even though the USCe defense was atrocious, their offense was still able to put points on the board. Unfortunately for them, A&M was able to put way more points on the board.

The coaching was terrible. It couldn't have been first game jitters..its like playing in front of a pee wee league crowd there. The Vandy coaches seemed to be seriously confused at what was going on..like they took over an SEC team and assumed they must be good. They didnt realize they took over the worst SEC team in the last, what..70 years?

If I were a Vandy fan, after I punched myself in the face repeatedly, the coaching would be the biggest thing to worry me. Not only does it seem like you're stuck with a lemon, but he's going to destroy very quickly any "prestige" you had built up under Franklin.

It was bad.

I don't see Vandy winning a single SEC game. The coaches presser after the game was abysmal too..like he was in some fog. Must have chugged Xanax at half..

Candy fan said it would hurt tn worse knowing they got beat by a team that lost it's opener come November.

Guess they forgot the memo that they lost to a cupcake team by 31 points and we beat a legit team by 31 points....

Oh can't wait to see the Vandy fan cry in November

There's an "article" posted at Vandymania about the Five Mistakes Derek Mason Made. First of all, not sure how they narrowed it down to five. But regardless, it's pretty funny.

One of the points is about how terrifying Mason's halftime interview was. The hilarious part is the writer claims this is an "easy fix". I'm going to bet he has a lot more deer in the headlights interviews before this season is over.

Another claims the SEC and the network should be "ashamed" for how they handled the weather delay and doesn't come out and say it but obviously is trying to lay some blame on that for Vandy's poor performance. I don't know what all specifically happened, but I thought it was delayed because of lightning, and that's an iron-clad rule. And even if they did delay it on purpose, why does that matter since it obviously didn't affect Temple at all.
