My point was to distinguish the differences between the comparison of BB to Mason that a Vandy fan made. The history of one coach gives one fanbase a reason to be optimistic the other coach has no history to even base optimism on.

I've considered doing the same thing. Only thing I'm worried about is the game won't be close to being sold out so street tix may be limited and not any cheaper than walking up to the ticket office and getting them.

Shouldn't that make them cheaper? Scalpers will be looking to unload to at least make some of their money back.

Did you know that going into Utah State's Sunday night game against Tennessee the Aggies were only a 3.5-point underdog? Yeah, I don't know if the final score says more about our underrating Tennessee or overrating Utah State, but the performance was enough to make Utah State a top 10 team this week. Congrats!

My thinking is there may not be scalpers plus Vandy scalpers are idiots. I went to Nashville in 2010 and Vandy fans we're wanting $80-$100 each when you could walk up and pay $60 face value at the ticket office. I refused to pay the $60 and ended up at a bar off campus watching it.

I think it's Nashville scalpers. I went with a WKU fan friend to the WKU/Kentucky game 3 years ago and maybe 20K showed up and at kickoff scalpers wanted $50-$60 a ticket.

Their "Pick the score" thread is priceless. About half the posters think Vandy upsets Ole Miss and a lot of them thinks it stays close. It's bordering on the absurd although this post is hilarious and I'm surprised it's still there:

Ole Miss could score an opening drive TD and take a knee for 3 1/2 quarters and still win.

I'm hoping for at the very least a 50-0 blowout by Ole Miss. I don't see how there were UT fans saying they felt bad for that pos program after the crap they've spewed the last couple of years. I wanna see em get embarrassed as much as possible and I hope they never recover.

Same. I'm really looking forward to Vandy games this year. I think if they get utterly trounced by Ole Miss, they may pack it in for the season and lose to another cupcake. I believe UK will smack them this year in Lexington, too.
