It is the truth.The funny thing about Luke is that while I did get the impression he was in over his head, given the circumstances I thought he actually did a pretty good job. He still managed to win over 40% of his games as a low man on the totem pole in a great division and while dealing with postseason ban/scholarship restrictions. He very easily could have put up Chad Morris-like numbers.
Following Freeze at Ole Miss was an impossible task. The expectation level of the Ole Miss fan base had been raised and they weren't going to lower them to a more realistic level to account for the sanctions or the attrition that Freeze's abrupt exit had brought. Plus, the new guy had to recruit within the rules now that they are under intense NCAA scrutiny.
