My first thought: 375 passing 275 rushing 3 defensive TDs. Tennessee did all the things.
On second thought:
The "oh God, I don't want to die" slide that Nico made when he scrambled made me spit out my beer. I hope he didn't injur himself collapsing to the field so fast
Looking ahead:
UT is back next week in an effort to really define their toughness on the road this year against Mizzou. Missouri is going to be tough especially if they make it another night game. If they get the win watch out for a rowdy and raucus crowd in Neyland the following week against the Puppies.
- Milton had a relatively brief but impactful afternoon given how little time of possession UT had. Hit on some big plays and didn't miss many throws. Joe + Nico got the job done.
- The running game was great as usual. Another 200+ day. Nothing really new to say here.
- The defense DID NOT take the day off that's for sure. Three defensive TDs for the first time in program history and allowed just one field goal (at least that's what it was after I decided to turn the game off and go do something productive lol).
On second thought:
- Really the only thing I could pick a bone on for UT was their lack of getting to the QB for a sack. It didn't really affect any part of the game but given how everything else was amazing you would have expected a season high in sacks too. Oh well!
