The discovery of the bodies of the rector of the local Episcopal church and a married woman in a New Jersey "lover's lane" in September 1922, launched one of the most sensational murder mysteries the United States has known. The subsequent trial did not resolve the case from a legal point of view, and the mystery remains unsolved today. Well, perhaps...
