Is a bad OC. I keep seeing all this "Banks got schooled by freaking Mike Bobo" sentiment. Despite what you may have heard from UGA fans (who are mostly idiots and hate most of their own coaches and players), Bobo is not a bad OC. Here is the scoring offense rank of his previous UGA offenses within the SEC:

2023, 2nd of 14
2014, 1st of 14
2013, 5th of 14
2012, 3rd of 14
2011, 4th of 12
2010, 4th of 12
2009, 7th of 12
2008, 3rd of 12
2007, 5th of 12

The guy can coach or he wouldn't have been around this long. Folks are underestimating however the fact that Ole Miss got Georgia at home while we had to play them on the road. The ability to rush the passer is greatly enhanced when a defense has that home crowd behind them. Our lads had to deal with Georgia’s offense operating under optimal home conditions. Georgia had only played 3 home games this year prior to last night and had scored 48, 31 and 41 points in those games.

In the friendly confines of Sanford Stadium, Carson Beck has 12 TD's and 2 INT's this year. Elsewhere he has 7 TD's and 10 INT's. We always had a tough road to hoe going down there this year and trying to come out with a win. That task was made extremely difficult psychologically when Ole Miss beat them last week because it insured they would be focused and fighting for playoff survival.

If this particular game is played in Neyland last night, it would have looked alot different and we would have had at least an even, if not better chance of coming out on top.

Georgia fans think Bobo sucks just like Tennessee fans think Banks Sucks…the data tells a different story
Right, sometimes the element of execution, particularly in hostile environments can lead to bad nights that have little to do with the coaching calls. Also alot of fans equate pressure with blitzing and if you don't get pressure, the fans erroneously conclude you did not blitz. When we blitzed last night they mostly picked it up (so we got no pressure) and several times they made us pay. Again, their offense was operating in their optimal environment last night, hearing every check Beck made, every shift in the blocking assignments. It's night and day compared to the environment Ole Miss had them in.

I thought that Georgias offense was very creative last night. They caught us with our pants down on several occasions. But bigger than that, they're offensive line was lights out and the key to this game. Our offense OTOH 😏
