The national nightmare is over...

The act he and Clemens put on is getting real old.

I honestly really don't care about them anymore. Especially Favre, Green Bay has no chance of making it anywhere near the SB. Green Bay is just not that good, and can't play that far beyond their talent level.

Speaking as a fellow old fart... I'm glad to see him stick it out for just as long as he likes.

Makes me feel younger somehow...

I think that ole Brett should just hang it up.

There are so many reasons. Last 10 seasons, grey in the beard when he looks in the mirror, last 10 seasons, team full of losers, last 10 seasons and bad commercials.

I've always like Brett so even though the seasonal drama is getting old I'm glad he's coming back.

They did this season. 8-8 for that team was incredible!

Last 10 seasons, 1 Super Bowl ring, 2 Super Bowl appearances, 7 playoff appearances, 5 Pro Bowls

favre needs to quit looking at his own self interests and do whats good for the team. and he has definitely not done that the last few years.

I hate watch these future hall-of-fame players get old and start playing poorly. Dan Marino's last season was painful to watch. Green Bay doesn't have a prayer of winning a super bowl.

I'd take a 50 year old Favre over Aaron Rodgers any day.

You honestly believe they could make it? I know it's the NFC, so there's always a chance at making the playoffs, but the conference does manage to field 2-3 good teams a year.

They should've made it this year. They lost to Buffalo after outgaining them by 200+ yards.

Still, they didn't have the talent to go 8-8, which is more what I was talking about. They overachieved.

Precisely. Making the playoffs in the NFC is one thing; any team in that conference has at least a somewhat realistic shot of making it from the season's beginning. Making it through is another thing, though. There will at least be a good team or two.
