Go ahead and flame away, but except from his religious hate, I find Bill entertaining. May not agree with his politics all the time, but he (or his staff) does good reasesrch and he can back up his points fairly well. Plus I love 'New Rules'. The bracketology of the extreme right wingers was funny as well. Flame away.....

I think Maher takes himself way too seriously, but he is consistent. The guy just has a complete disdain for all forms of religion.

He makes some funny points, but his views on environmentalism and guns is nauseating.

I liked him when he was on Comedy Central and hadn't gone completely off the deep end. His new rules is funny. Guy isn't all there anymore though.

He's delusional if he thinks he's actually a Libertarian though.

I like him in very small bursts but overall he's a jackass.

He's a social liberatian... also see libertine, licentious.

His worldview is probably the most unjust of all. He thinks that people not only can but should disregard all moral restraint... and the consequences and costs of those actions should be borne by those who are moral and ethical and productive.

A true libertarian advocates maximum freedom but also total personal responsibility.
