For all that listened to CPF, and his press conference monday, it was laiden with undertones that he and Mike Hamilton had spoken about the status of RS, The state of the program, where the replacement would come from, and would require a "national" search. Hamilton and Dickey fell out over the Buzz Peterson which tells me MH is his own man. I believe this season has spent much of Fulmer's "political capital" and the powers that be will be VERY involved in the next hire. Opinions....

I just don't think Hamilton will be that involved in searching for assistants. I expect CPF to have free reign to hire new assistants (around 4-6 of them this winter) with Hamilton's buy-in at the end. If Phil doesn't get a contract extension this winter (I don't think he will), it tells everyone that Hamilton finally has CPF's attention.
