SIAP, but I didn’t see another thread title with this. Feel free to merge if I missed one. But, I saw this on Twitter and this is just awesome. Nico is going to be such a legend on the field but his impact off the field might be even bigger. What a dude. As good of a person as he is talented. We’re lucky to have him.

I predict that we'll see a lot more stars forming non profits. Their families can run it and draw salaries and they can receive nil.

Now I don't think that's what Nico is doing, but I've thought about this structure before.
That's most likely exactly what Nico is doing. Not to say that they aren't going to do legitimate charity as well, I am sure they will, but you are right on the money.

Otherwise known as tax avoidance. I’m all for it.

I am curious why it's set up as a California nonprofit. Seems like it would have been better sitused in Tennessee for tax purposes. Plus the California Secretary of State are not the most friendly folks to deal with.
