the slumlord stuff is amazing. and when Obama was in the state legislature, he routinely helped steer grants to these guys in order to provide services to the poor tenants, but instead shafted them and used the money to enrich themselves.

Absolutely. For the most part, all politicians care about is themselves and your vote. There might be only a handful that actually care about people.
