i think it is way to early to say. we have only played two games. and one was in the loudest stadium on earth.

if we leave ainge in and quit this qb b.s. we will find our rythym.

our recievers need to get their butts to work though. they look sluggish and lazy and that is not acceptable.

Ainge was chosen as the starter for the LSU game. Maybe we'll get into a rhythm and stop all this QB switching nonsense.

I think that we are too predictable in our playcalling.  Only my opinion though. :peace2:

With no OL, WR's, or constant turnovers....any play calling wont work

OL is ok. I don't understand? Phil says its one of the best he has ever seen. Play calling also determines how OL blocks.

???

Have to disagree with the OL assessment. Did you see them pushing UF around on runs in the first half? I think I could have run through some of those holes. And, a little creativity from the playbook just might help out the receivers. If I see that %&*# bubble screen ever again, it will be too soon. Oh, and it is PERFECTLY LEGAL to throw the ball to the middle half of the field, contrary to the belief of our coaching staff.

QBs had plenty of time in the pocket as long as the run was a threat.

Seems to me that the problem would be abondoning 9sp?) the game plan too early. At least from what I saw Saturday night - just like someone around here said - they made us predictable.

Give me a break. There is a difference between pass and rush blocking but spare us all the ridiculous analogy that the OL's struggles were RS's fault. Whether we ran or threw it, the DL's were in the backfield too quickly.

As for Kiddie, our OL did pretty decent in the 1st half. I would agree. But the 2nd half was another story. Ainge got knocked down and pressured a LOT. Way too much. We had some good pass plays knocked down due to pressure right in Ainge's face

I might be mistaken, but wasn't floridas secondary supposed to be suspect? If this is true, then we failed to take advantage of it.

Agreed. But, accept it or not, there is a BIG difference in pass rush and run defense. If you overplay the pass (which they did), you open yourself up to both draw plays and quick-hitters through an overaggressive defensive front. We gave up (or never really even committed to, in the first place) a rushing attack that could have beaten Florida.

I'm with you that placing the blame on one coach or one team is stupid. We lost (in my humble opinion of order) due to 1) Coaching, 2) Special teams, 3) the disaster that is/was the "QB rotation," and 4) WR's underachieving.
