Can be attributed to the lack of an inside-out game. With no one as a serious outside threat, our two big inside options are neutralized, and the slashers can't get into the paint.

You have to believe that a lot of our pre- and early-season hype hinged on us keeping the bodies out of the paint. Everytime Tyler catches the ball, there is a triangle of defenders around him. Teams are daring us to shoot the outside shot, and we are. . . .terribly.

The fall-off is offensive.

Nicely done.

Unfortunately, many of us are accepting where we are, and it's painful. Reminiscent of the 2005 football team with all its preseason hype. . . .then the pieces just don't fall into place.

Ramar and Duke are irrelevant. What we miss are outside shooters and die-hard defenders.

I would take Crews on this team any day of the week!

As for Ramar the only problem i had with him was his shot selection & his FT shooting. He played good defense & he attacked the basket.

We did lose one of the best players in TN basketball history and his forte was outside shooting.

you guys are starting to realize just how good lofton was and how much you were spoiled by him

Incorrect. Some of us knew how important he was to our game. His "professional ability" is irrelevant. What he did was to force defenders to the perimeter, still add points, and allow the big guys to get open looks.
