To me, JJ flashes talent but it’s been mostly untapped to this point. Hopefully he finds his mojo this season and starts playing up to his potential and takes a huge step forward. If he doesn’t then it’s time to graduate and move on as younger talent is in the pipeline. I’m rooting for him. It’s good to hear that JJ is improving we are going to need him to be at least a consistent 5-10 point scorer next year.
"Someone very familiar with all of their games told me this week that Nkamhoua is further along at this stage of his development than either Grant Williams."
I find that extremely generous and difficult to believe based on what I've seen and remember about Williams as a FR, but if true, it gives me a ton of hope. Athletically, I wouldn't be surprised if he ORN is ahead of GW, but from a skills standpoint, it really surprises me. Grant was very young for his class, too, which may contribute to their differences in development.
And maybe you can. I don't know. If those quotes are accurate, the PF spot is seemingly as open sans GW as it was when GW stepped in and started as a true FR. There are guys with more experience in the system who could fill that role, but it remains unseen how talented they are.Yeah I have a hard time believing that. It means you could pencil in ORN as the starter at 4.

Some players just have don't have a motor. Johnson had looked like one of these players so far. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see him ever having anything but a minor role. Right now we are thin in the backcourt so he may get a good shot to prove me wrong. To me, JJ flashes talent but it’s been mostly untapped to this point. Seriously - as fans we now are entitled to judge the coaches on how they interact with their own families?I'll say if that was the extent of the plan he should have been in Knoxville on Saturday and with family on Sunday. I know he has more use of the private jet as part of his new contract and this was the perfect time for that
