I know it's moot at this point, but Carr and especially Estrella would have made this team almost a Final Four lock in my mind. Having that kind of depth and the potential post presence Estrella offers would have been massive. But as I said, moot.

Carr was never going to give us anything. Estrella was the big loss

Not like it matters but Barnes has a two game winning streak against Oats right now.

ACC has been on decline for several years now. Tried to become a football conference and it didn't work. They have been strong at the very top that's led to at least one yearly run to the Final Four which has softened the blow.

I’m talking purely as a basketball league, which this is a basketball forum. They had a national title in 2019, two Final Four teams in 2022, one in 2023, and another last year. You’re making up a narrative but I’m not going to debate on this topic unless you want to talk basketball and provide factual information to support your position.
